The Obama-Meter

From the St. Petersburg Times is PolitiFact's Obameter which is keeping track of how Obama will live up to his ~500 campaign promises.
Like many others, I'm willing to give Obama a break. It takes time to effect real change. As long as he's doing something after some careful calculations and consulting, then I'm good. Doesn't it feel weird to have a hard-working, thinking-inclined, competent president?

No. It doesn't feel good. Just like it wouldn't feel good to have an old thinking man like McCain. As a country we should be able to do much better than than the crop of presidents in my lifetime (1970- present).

Just because someone is a hard worker (community organizer = hard work in your book?) and speaks well and has intelligence doesn't make them fit for the position.

Ted Bundy was intelligent.
So was Ted Kaczynski.
